I think you'll really enjoy Argentina. I've been there twice and if it wasn't so expensive to fly there, I would go more often. Its people, culture, food, and activities are some of the best the world has to offer. I agree with Natalie K on the places she recommended. I would also recommend the San Telmo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. They have a market there every Sunday and it's a lot of fun. The architecture is beautiful.

CUIDALO, ES EL UNICO QUE TENEMOS
hi
I'm Argentinian, if you want to know anything about my country just e mail me , u'll find my address on my profile. In June it tends to be quite cold here, though to the North of Argentina the climate is rather warm but no too much. I'm glad you decided to come to Argentina for a visit, you won't regret it.........

happy travel..........peace!

Hi. You gonna love it. Argentina has beautiful landscapes, food, etc. If you go to Buenos Aires you need to be carefull like in any other big cities. There isnt more crime than in US.
You should visit Cordoba (provincia) one day, I personally like it better than Buenos Aires.

Hi, I live in Buenos Aires, I hope you enjoy but let me tell you that it's nicer during Feb or march because the weather it's great but for June it's cold. BUT don't worry I'm sure you are gonna have a good time, if you don't mind I'm gonna give you a little list of places to visit:
- puerto madero (really nice at night, lots of fancy restaurants, bars and more)
- Palermo (Hollywood and Soho, cool restaurants, bars and stores)
- lavalle (full of people 24/7 there you'll find restaurants, bars, movie theaters, bingo places, stores, malls, galleries and much more!)
- tigre ( great to go during the day, it's full with handcrafts, artfully stuff and you can practice diff kinds of sports, you'll also find an amusement park, trips on nice boats, the fruit and veggie market which is huge and plenty of stuff, like souvenirs and blah.)

Hope you enjoy!

hey that's great you're going to argentina! i went last summer as a foreign exchange student and i loved it. where i stayed, there wasn't any scenery or anything but the friendliness of the people made it all worth while. like another person said, stay open-minded and you'll love it. bring sweaters and a jacket!

You will LOVE it. The country is beautiful, the people are friendly, the food is the best. Go with an open mind, and open eyes, and you won't easily forget the trip. Do you know where you will be going, and how long you will be there? See everything you can, and immerse yourself in the experience. You will never want to leave.. :)

Come now, you can see people raising against the dictatorship of Mad Kristina Kirchner. She is almost expropiating farms, like worst commie regimes. violence is raising, as she sends hooligans paid by her and with some piquetero who supports hezbollah, to hit punch kick and intimidate families protesting. Violence is raising.
We don't have milk now nor meat or fresh products. And she said she will not back a step. In other way argentina is beautiful.
