Travis H

Hello everyone.?

Does anyone have any experience with this rental service-- www.puertasportenas.com.ar. They want me to do a wire transfer for the deposit, and it seems that most rental services of BA ask for this.

Thank you.

Buenos Aires Guide
Buenos Aires is full of rental agencies some betterthan others, but most very good.

I run www.bastay.com and www.buenosairesstay.com two of BAs premier agencies. We have 500 properties online and have been establsihed since 2004.

I would suggest that no one ever gives their credit card details by telephone or email to any third party, fraud is rife in Buenos Aires, as it is in any Capital worldwide. Only give your credit or debit cards where you can see them swipe them.

You should never pay in full for an apartment, 20% of the rent is the going rate and should be sufficient to satisfy any agency. Again ask to use a secure payment system such as PayPal or Western Union.

If you wnat further advice speak to Maria, my senior advisor - maria@bastay.com

I have never heard of the agency you have contacted, but that does not mean they are bad.

Have a wonderful stay in the amazing Buenos Aires - we have a lot of good info' on our site have a look.

Best regards
