Ok, I'm gonna try to help you out with this:

What foods are indicative of your culture?
Asado, that would be barbacue, people here eat lots of meat

What foods items are needed to make a meal for you?
I'm a vegan, but let me tell you that you won't find many vegan people in argentina, maybe 50 people in total. I love eating potato, soy and tomato. nice sandwitch, also I love chinesse food.

How many meals do you eat every day? Do you snack?
I eat breakfast, sometimes some snack before lunch cos I have bf at 7am, so at 11 I eat 2 cookies, then at 12.30 or 1pm I have lunch, at 5pm I have "merienda" would be like a snack, then at 9pm aprox I have dinner.

Who usually shares the meals?
Share the meals?, mmm, sometimes my mum prepares something and we all eat that if that's what you mean.

Who prepares the meals?
my mum or I do, when I know they are gonna have meat I prepare something vegan for myself.

Where is food normally consumed?
we have a table and 4 chairs in the kitchen, we usually eat there unless it's a special ocation, then we go to the living room where we have a really nice glass table with 6 chairs.

How is food normally consumed?
cooked if that's what you mean, maybe a korean person will tell you raw.

How do your food habits differ from your family norms?
I'm vegan no one else in my family is

In what significant ways do they differ?
I have to prepare different food from the rest.

What are symbolic meanings of food known to your culture?
here food it's really apriciated, we all have "fat people" souls. hahaha I'm not saying we are all fat, but we all enjoy food.

Do either you have any food ‘taboos’?
There's a saying from a book called "Martin Fierro" which says that everything that walks ends up on the grill so no taboos. Thoght here we don't eat rats like maybe a chinesse person would.

What are the major holidays you and your family celebrate each year?
new year's eve, pesaj, hannuka and nothing else...sadly.

What special foods are served for these holidays?
jewish food and for new year we serve different kinds of food, like noodles, french fries, blah blah blah.

Do you fast? If yes, when? What, if any, foods are avoided and/or consumed?
I avoid dead animals in my plate.

What foods (if any) do you eat to improve strength, endurance, and/or vitality?
soy and I don't know if you know but here soy it's really important, it's produced in great cuantitudes.

What foods do you avoid to prevent illness or disease?
dead animals, lol, like mad cow disease.

What foods do you eat to stay healthy?
potatoe, soy, tomatoe, apple, banana, noodles, brocolli, rice and more..

What foods did your mother (or caregiver) feed you when you were sick?
veggie soup or nuddles without any kind of sauce.

What foods do you desire now when you are sick?
I'm not sick now but I usually want french fries with ketchup when I'm feeling sick and know I can't have them

OOOkkk I got bored now, hope that info is useful to you.
