Bariloche is probably one of the most beautiful places in the world. If u go there in winter, you can spend most of your time skiing or trying out cross-country ski (which I loved by the way). But the city is extremely beautiful by itself. If you want to get to know the city I would recommend u to go in the Summer since u'll be able to enjoy all the lakes, forests and recreation much better because of the weather, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't be able to visit these places in Summer :D

The whole area is unbelievably beautiful. When are you going? Summer is the best time to go if you don't care for skiing. I'd stay for a week at least, especially since it takes a while to get there in the first place.
