I don't think it costs very much. My Godmother was staying there earlier this year and I think she said it was inexpensive.

The average cost is about 500 USD per month, but it depends on where you're staying. There are lots of people that have apartments for rent for tourists. I link to one below, just as an example. If you search for rentals in Buenos Aires, I'm sure a lot will come up.
