I am American with Argentine parents, have been back and forth and can't decide to stay(US) or go. Ideas? |
I want to find others who are torn between two cultures and have experienced coming and going. I am afraid to go and "pray" it all goes well and I am afraid to stay here(US). Sometimes I am just bored, maybe I am too alone.
I would like to talk to others feeling the same. |

Hi I'm from Argentina myself and I love my country, but let me tell you, is not a good place to live right now.
You have wonderfull places, wonderfull people, but politically and economicamente is not good.
I lived in Los Angeles for five years and I can tell you lots of reasons why you should stay but I only going to say to you that you must follow your heart but also think straight, think what you want to do with your life, wich are your expectations, don't make a decision only because you might feel lonely, those are not good motives to make decisions.
Let me tell you something, right now I'm living in Spain and there're moments when I feel completely lost, because I'm away from the people I love, I have family in both countries ( usa and arg), I miss them a lot , but I did what I think is correct for my life and for my wellbeing and I don't regret it...sometimes I feel very lonely but I don't give up 'cause I'm following my dream, I'm following my heart!

Argentina is a great country and is very receptive to migrants from all over the World.
If you ask, most people who think otherwise and leave are from Buenos Aires. There are better places to live (Bariloche, Santa Fe, Rosario, Córdoba, Posadas).
It's always your choice but what's the meaning of life in the US? Property? Achievement (of what)?
Sorry I can't find a better way to answer but to pose more questions. |
