You must specify of which country you are. If you are of the USA I BELIEVE THAT IT DOES NOT NEED VISA.

If your a non-citizen go to the Argentinian Embassy and you need ur passport, 3 months of bank statements, your airline tickets, paycheck stubs, and if am not mistaken, it cost about $50-60-. We did it for my husband about 1 year ago.Just goggle it. I hope you go, that will be a nice experience for you-Goodluck

you do not need a Visa or any special shots for Argentina or Uruguay. if you plan on visiting any place in Brazil while you are in South America, you will need a Visa for Brazil and any shots including yellow fever.

in some ways it is hard to answer your question because you do not state how long you are going.

prices for airline tickets vary a little depending on the
1. time of year you are coming, for example, Christmas time is more expensive than in July (remember the seasons here are opposite to the US:summer in US is winter in Argentina)
2. where you are coming from (from Miami is cheaper than from California)
3.and of course the airline you choose. only a few places fly direct here: Delta from Atlanta, American from NY or Miami,Continental from Texas. basically you are looking at a high of about 1700.00 RT and a low of 700.00 RT in dollars.

unless you are being picked up at the airport you will need a taxi (they are called Remis here) which can run you atleast 20 dollars if you are going to the city or south of the city. if you are going north of the city of course it will cost more.

food is very cheap here. have fun going out!! to "party it up " (wine,appetizer,steak,dessert,expresso,e... at a restaurant for dinner you will need no more than 30.00 dollars. 1/2 of that for lunch. for clubs, figure 80.00 because drinks are expensive, but that is also inlcuding getting in and if you drink a lot of alcoholic beverages if you drink soda than it will be about 30.00 dolllars. shows are about 20.00 dollars for ones in the city, cheaper outside, sometimes free. buses are less than 50 cents, as well as the subway. trains are 60 cents.

so all in all you will need about 1000.00 a week to REALLY live it up and do whatever you want (go to shows, clubs, take the Buquebus to Uruguay for the day, go out for every single meal, party, sight see, etc) if you are watching your $$ you can actually have more than a lot of fun with 500.00 a week no problem!!

Visa is free. There was some talk of a reciprocity fee of US$130 for entering, but I don't think it's going to happen. My friend just arrived yesterday, and didn't have to pay anything. It was supposed to start in January. As for things to do while in Buenos Aires, take a look here for some ideas. http://www.bsas4u.com/top10buenosairesplacestovisitandhotspots.php

You dont need any VISA up to 90 days.

If you are going to be going to Argentina for under 90 days you do not have to have a visa. If you will be staying longer that that you would need to get in contact with an Argentina Embassy or website to find out how to obtain one and also find out how much it would cost.

Good Luck!

If you are travelling as a tourist and are a US Citizen you do not need a visa to enter Argentina for up to 90 days.

If you are going to visit I would suggest taking around $3000 for expenses.
