I“m from Rosario! It“s a beautiful city on the shore of the Parana River. It got a lot better in the last decades when they started to relocate the docks and replacing them with avenues and parks along the river, where there are spectacular views of high delta of the Parana. However, there“s a lot of poverty as well. |

I'm from beautiful Cordoba! Rosario is a nice big city, but a little unsafe...I've only been there once, there are nice monuments and other historical places to visit, a couple of reputable universities and apparently a great nightlife. It's also just a step away from Buenos Aires. |

I'm from Santa Fe. That's the capital city of the province where Rosario is, though Rosario is about 3 or 4 times larger and more important. I've been to Rosario several times, since I've got friends there. It's a nice place, too. It's big enough to have a lot of activities and interesting stuff to do, but it's not so big and overwhelming as Buenos Aires, especially in the neighbourhoods away from the city centre.
BTW, people from Santa Fe and Rosario are traditionally supposed to be opposed to each other, and to be sort of adversaries or enemies. Well, I don't buy that. I like the people I've met there, and I like some famous people from Rosario, like comic designer Roberto Fontanarrosa, singer Juan Carlos Baglietto or the late actor Alberto Olmedo.
BTW, how come you are from Argentina, but you've never been here? Or is it you've only never been to Rosario? Where in Argentina were YOU born? |
