Is the neighboorhood "Once" in Buenos Aires dangerous?

Hi Bee Music;
Buenos Aires is NOT a dangerous place as the other answerer said, in fact Mexico city is much dangerous right now! Buenos Aires is a huge city and of course there are some places which are more dangerous than others. But I have to warn you about Barrio del Once, it could be quite dangerous. It is a bit far from the city center, it's a place where you can find lots of very cheap things like clothes, etc. It is considered a popular neighbourhood and although I've been 7 times to Buenos Aires, I have never ever thought of going to El Once just to save a few pennies. If you could avoid it, avoid it. Being a popular neighbourhood you can find people who are not very "friendly" and you may find yourself in trouble. Stick to Recoleta, Palermo, Puerto Madero, San Isidro, Martinez, Tigre, Beccar, even downtown but not Once.

Like every huge-cosmopolitan city, Buenos Aires has safe and friendly neighborhoods and others not so friendly. Once is not the best place to go but neither the worst. I suggest Palermo, Belgrano or Recoleta.

At the day it's almost as safe as other parts of Bs Asbut at night there are some places a bit dangerous.

Well, EVERYWHERE is dangerous (Someone stolen my money pocket in Finland! ), but in Argentina (as everywhere) you should take care of your things.
Once is not so dangerous, but BE CAAREFUL, because thieves in Argentina are very professional:
- Put your bag in a place where you can see it
- Have your cell phone, money, passport, etc in a place (a pocket for example) that you can touch it and be sure of none can .
But avoid it if is possible...are nicer places, like Puerto Madero, Palermo, Recoleta, etc.
Enjoy! Greetings

The city of BUENOS AIRES is very dangerous and Argentina it is not a tourist country so that it does not have natural nor cultural wonders.

is the best mexico!
