NO beaches in Buenos Aires, but river ones and not very nice at all.
You are about 400kilometers or 250miles (Mar del Plata, Pinamar, Villa Gesell)

June and July is winter, but NOT freezing cold winter, BUT not beach summer either! |

There's no beach in the city, you have to travel more or less 300 km to one. June/July is winter and therefore not a good time for the beach, but you can visit Mar del Plata, city that has a beach and is about 400 km from Buenos Aires, where you'll find a lot of things to do even if it's cold. |
