Well, it's a good thing you consulted me before making this decision. I have decided that...... you will go to Argentina, and you will have a nice time.

Yes - if you can go - I think you should. HOWEVER - don't waste this expensive trip getting hung up on guys you'll never see again. Learn new things. Soak up the culture and the language. Look at the guys and flirt with them - and enjoy being young and single, but don't make it a "guy safari' - and be very careful about what you do.

Hey! I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. And if your grandparents can afford the trip you should do it. Argentina is beautiful! The City of Buenos Aires if full of places you should visit, like Caminito, Recoleta, Florida, Bond Street, Palermo, Tigre. And if you can go to another province, I suggest you to go to Cordoba, Misiones, Calafate (in Santa Cruz), Bariloche (in Neuquen), and so many other places like Ushuaia the end of the world! Argentina is really nice and cheap for Americans and Europeans. I'll be waiting for you =)

Argentina is great and a lot of people love it there but before you go there i would recommend you to read the travel guide from footprints. it really good and it tells you a lot about the culture and its a one in a lifetime chance so....GO FOR IT!!!

This is ironic, i went to Buenos Aires, Argentina last summer and stayed with my grandparents and they are very poor also. Its a great experience, i actually stayed there for a month too. I love Argentina, going there was the best thing that ever happened to me. Have your grandparents enroll you guys in a private school, theyll most likely let you in for free, and its a great way to meet people and make the experience better. If your living around buenos aires, theres this school called San Marin, i went there last summer. Its located in San Isidro and they have exchange students there every summer. You should definitely think about it! its a really fun place and you should really go to school to meet more people!!

Mr. Camel
ya, as long as u dont feel guilty for your grandparents paying. Its a great place to visit, if ure staying for a month definately dont stay in buenos aires. Go to mendoza or bariloche. there great for wine and fishing

Measure the opportunity costs of going to Argentina? What are the benefits. (mentally) and the drawbacks (months time of stuff to do gone) Choose wisely, it may also benefit your grandparents too because it may make them happy even if you dont know it.

It depends where are you from and where are your grandparents from. If they earn in USD it will be fine as Argentina's currency is really weak now-a-days and it is really cheap for an American to spend one month in Argentina.

If they are paying, i say go for it. I went to Buenos Aires last summer with two of my friends. We were celebrating our 21st birthdays together. Needless to say we missed a lot of the culture and sights of B.A. and I regret it. We were so hungover that we didn't even get to see Eva Peron's grave. It's ALWAYS good to travel, so if you get the opportunity, please...go for it!
