Travel Help Argentina - Buenos Aires? |
Traveling to Argentina in November with 4 people. Looking to stay in a nice but cheap place close to Palermo. Anyone know of a cheap apartment rental or hotel. I am a little weary of staying in a hostel.
Thanks! |

I would highly reccomend the Malabia House Hotel in Buenos aires in the parlermo area.
My husband and I just came back from Buenos Aires and we loved our stay at Malabia House. Our bathroom was across the hall and it was small but it was fine. The staff and the laid back atmosphere made up for it.
The rooms themselves have very high ceilings and are quite lovely, the common areas are so welcoming. The staff set up a great happy hour with wine and antipasto every night, and breakfast was awesome. The computer access was very convenient and everyone was so nice.
The staff booked all our dinner reservations, soccer game, massages, tango show etc

Hello :) There are hundreds Agencies. You can also write: Bed and Breakfast Buenos Aires, or Accommodations Buenos Aires, or Guesthouse Buenos Aires in Google and you'll find a lot of nice places. |

It depends on what cheap means to you. A nice two bedroom apartment will cost around $500-$1000 USD a week.
The Malabia house is very nice but also very expensive; singles start at $109 a night. If you are OK with not having everything taken care of for you I highly recommend renting an apartment. We have many listings for Buenos Aires from many different agencies on my site at MoveGlobally.com. I'm biased of course but if you search for "apartments buenos aires" you'll find several other sites that list properties.
I live in Palermo and love it. Palermo is big though and the best zones IMHO are Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, and Palermo Chico. |
