Many apartment owners list their apartments with multiple agents. Some of the bigger, more reputable agencies are bytargentina, apartmentsba, and rentinba.

Personally, I prefer Palermo since it has the best selection of rental apartments and is central.

here is a specific agency that is reliable and deal with Americans as well as europeans a lot

granted, i would recommend actually seeing the apt before renting, because things work differently here than in the states.sometimes what it states it has, it does not or it does not function properly ( ie dishwasher,ac,etc)so you want to be able to test all running appliances etc before choosing.also, some apts come with nothing, so you want to be VERY specific with what you want included in your rent.
also, of course they are going to take pictures that represent the apt. the best way, NOT necessarily what it really looks like.
try to get an apt that does not face the main st. (it will be quieter)
do not get a below ground or first floor apt.
make sure there is security
check about parking if you will have a car here
check about hidden fees
apt are in square meters not feet

belgrano
outside the city:
acassuso
martinez
san isidro centre |
