Lots of things to do in Salta. However, you must try the empanadas salteñas which are simply the best I've had in years.

everywhere is cheap to eat in salta. is the first town i got to in argentina and one of my favorite. loads of cheap restraunts, quite a few clubs etc. lovely town square and cool cablecar to go up and view the city/town. awsome
