Argentinian people are like everyone else.There are good and bad .It is an individual choice.Do we like all the Americans??

Well, to begin with, I am from Argentina. Now, to answer your question, my best friends are from Argentina, and so are my greatest enemies. I love some Argentinians, and I couldn't hate some others any more. We're a people like every other people in the world, with great people and despicable ones, too. In general (but I don't really like generalisations), we're insecure. That's why we keep asking others what they think of us, like your friend is doing. And it is this insecurity what makes some of us (especially those who are wandering abroad) so obnoxious. We're also chronically predisposed not to stop before a red traffic light, and we have a terrible rate of traffic accidents. We wish to do things the easy way, and we don't like taking any extra effort.

But on the other hand, we have a few good things. We've got talented people in almost every branch of science (like most other countries, anyway), we're solidarious in cases of catastrophes. We despise criminals, who are only a very limited part of our population. We are curious to know about different things, too. But the single most important quality we have is that we have a very special sense of friendship. We put friends above everything and everyone else. We're proud friends of our friends. We rely on them, and we know they rely on us, just as your friend is relying on you for this question. And that is possibly the best thing I can tell you about ourselves.

But, what do you bother to listen to me. After all, I'm just an Argentinian. ;)

I've never visited South America before and last month was my first. I could honestly say that Argentines are very polite, helpful, and well mannered individuals. I also find the people very attractive, specially the MEN ( okay, I'm of that persuasion). The people are muy agradable.

My only regret while there was not been able to speak fluent Spanish. But there is next year. Si, claro, bien chau!!!

like Nani, I'm Brazilian too and like Argentina and the Argentinians.
And the Argentinian men are (mostly) beautiful than the Brazilian (especially northern Brazilians = ugly), play good football, make good dishes and have a really great country ;D

They're great, I love their accents. They're fashionable, diverse and good looking. These are ridiculous generalizations but the ones I've met have been like that.

What kind of question is that? Were all Argentinians made from the same mould? I'm sure no two are alike, just like anyone else. Odd question to ask.

The Argentine people are very kind. Very family oriented. They are a Catholic nation. They are considered the Europeans of South America. They consume "Mucho Carne" (alot of meat) When they see you they greet you with a kiss. And tell your friend that she should be very proud to be an Argentine!

I lived in argentina and the people are freaking the best people i have ever meet in my life !! everything about argentina is good !! woman, food, soccer, !!

I think the people of Argentina are great. I have visited Buenos Aires several times and have only good things to say about the people. I am sure I know where your friend is going with her insistence of asking this question but I will not play along because than I will be no better than Mexiboi who is totally confused about history. I have heard the stupid things other Hispanics say not only about Argentines but all Spanish speaking countries. How do you expect the Americans to respect us if we do not unite and respect ourselves. The only way we can battle ignorance and mis information is through education.There is good and bad everywhere.

PS. Castillian Spanish is spoken in Argentina. Vos is not made up, Mexiboi did you pay attention in class? One more thing, if I am not mistaken "Chevere" is used in Venezuela, another beautiful country with terrific people.

If you dont know the history of my country its your problem..but before telling that..try to read a little... and know that we do know about your contry...the same country that selled part of it to usa, and the same counrty that as we do, but is much worst at mexico...gives the back to the natives. Go to Chiappas or Oaxaca if you dont think its happening...

Second, Do you know why argentinias ar called to wrok in Mexico? figure it out...

I have never met any Argentinians (yeah, I know where it is located) but, I am sure there are lots of nice and beautiful Argentinians.... I just never met any of them... ;-)))

In my opinion, people from Argentina are really nice and polite. I've been there recently, and though I am Brazilian, they were nice to me and my family (Brazilians generally don't like Argentinians, I really don't know why).

i can't speak about all Argentines but from what i have seen they are extremely insecure and rely heavily on degrees and labels to define themselves as people.
they are only your friend to further their careers or social standing. As I said, I realize that my experience with Argentines is limited to my ex-boyfriend and his family but while they are gracious and hospitable when you are in the room that all changes when you leave and they talk about you behind your back (even about other family members). I hope to meet other Argentine people because I'm sure my ex's family have mental problems LOL!!! One last thought Argentine men are Gorgeous.

honestly? dont get mad but this is the truth:
There bad rasict people with no history once so ever, people who are just british and mix english and spanish and dont know how to spell or speak the original spanish you see, they make words like "chevere" and say " y voz" and spell guey "way" they have no history and are always calling mexicans indians, well just let those bitc-h-e-s know, atleast Mexicos got history and culture, and if they hate mexico so much why the f-u-c-k do they escape to go and live there!!???? they are leaving argentina because right know argentina is suffiring an economic crisis, and the towns in argentina are dying, and soon not going to exsits, they are invadeing mexico as mexicans are invadeing the U.S, and f-u-c-k argentinans, its better to have a background and history than not at all, there just british people!!! they dont belong in south america, because there the only ones in south america with no history. and they belong in europe. they also talk alot of s-h--i-t and dont know how to lose, did u see what they did in the world cup??? just because they got beat by germany, the argentinan team started a fight!! they went to the germans and started punching them! then the police came and told them to stop, they did, but when the police left the went after the german coach and cursed at him.
