if you like winter, you can come in July-Agost. The wheather is not very cold (it's very unusual to snow here), and there're lots of touristic activities, places to visit and night life. But if you come in winter you must visit Patagonia Argentina, one of the best place in the world!
If you'd prefer the summer, you can come in January, Feb or March.
I'd recommend to come in March, because from Dec until Feb it's extremelly hot, but touristic places are available all the year, and night life too.
Bye! |

buenos aires is a city with temperate climate which is comfortable year round. this winter (our summer) has been exceptionally cold and in fact it has even snowed (something which hadnt happened in nearly thirty years). if you want to go to patagonia however (the southern part of argentina), i would recomend a warmer time of the year. here is some good info on argentina and buenos aires specifically http://articles.directorym.com/Argentina-a108.html
hope that helped |

From my website! www.buenosairesstay.com
Buenos Aires - the weather
The temperate climate of the city is characteristic of the RÃo de la Plata's coastal plain. The city is hot and humid in the summer months of December to February, with a mean high temperature of 83°F (28°C). The autumn and spring are characterized by fluctuating temperatures and rapidly changing weather. The winter months of June to August are mild but humid, with a mean temperature of 52°F (11°C). The average annual temperature is slightly higher than 60° F (16° C). Frosts occur from May to September, but snowfall is extremely rare. Winds are generally of low velocity and are more frequent during the season of electrical storms, between September and March. Rainfall is heaviest in March.
The weather has become more extreme recently, as you have read - October/November are the times I love best - not too hot, certainly not humid and the joys of spring in every step! |

I've been 7 times to Buenos Aires and this is what I would suggest according to my experience: avoid January and July at all costs as it is either Summer or Winter and I've sweat horribly in January and I've forzen in July. However, I once went in late February/early March and the weather was simply exquisite. Also, try to go late November/early December where the weather is also great.
If you cannot go in either March or November, then go during summer and not winter time. It even snowed last week, first time since 1918!!!!!! |

I think that the best time to visit Buenos Aires is Agost, because there touristic places, activities, sightseeing places, and more. Or in March, when the wheather is warmer and there are also touristic activities.
If you're thinking about coming, I recommend you this hotel: http://www.hotellasnaciones.com.ar
Bye! |
