All kinds of music, classic Rock, Argentinian Rock(called National Rock), Latin music and local Folcklore, besides Tango and any international new music wave.
I listen more rock if you want go to www.fmrockandpop.com , and click on "En Vivo" and you can listen radio as they(and I) do .
Meat, BEEF is the base of the argentinian diet, grilled without anything more than salt , called asado.Other traditional food are empanadas (kind of turnover filled with beef, onion, pepper, etc) and Locro( very loaded stew). Then a lot of italian and spaniard food too . No too spice, very good food.
Yerba Mate is an infusion from the leaves of a bush, drinked in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, South of Brazil, Paraguay.
Is kind of a little bitter, but some people drink it with some sugar, and taste like a tee. Is a tradition thatbring friends or families together.
Come home to drink some Mates is a tipical invitation betwen friends, excuse to spend time talking sharing this drink.

BA Girl
mate is a very strong and leafy tea that is very common in south america, mainly argentina. it is bitter and you generally mix it with hot water and drink it through a metal straw in a special mate container... if you havent grown up drinking it, then its very unlikely that you'll like it... There is a lot of Argentine food, alfajores, dulce de leche, blood sausage, calamari, they dont waste any animal parts really... I listen to Bajo Fondo, Julio Sosa, Carlos Gardel, Gipsy Kings...
