What statues are on Defensa Street (near a church) in San Telmo, Buenos Aires?
At the start of Defensa, near the Plaza de Mayo, there are three statues in Greek style (although they are not that old as that) on raised platforms. Usually (when I was down there) there would be an art vendor nearby. It's at the start of the San Telmo marketplace if you are coming from the Plaza and the Casa Rosada. Additional Details I'm looking for who the statues actually _are_. I'm pretty sure they're saints - I just don't know which.
The Church in the corner of Defensa and Alsina is the Basilica de San Franciso.
I remember the statues, I think that they are a reproduction of Greek statues, they are in the sidewalk of the Banco Hipotecario Argentino but I'm sorry for not telling you more

I'm not really sure what your question is but my guess would be the statues that are located near the church are old figures of ancient history
