Well i'm in Argentina right now and i'm from the US.
It does get hot...VERY hot. And it's very humid too.
So expect temperatures in the high 90s maybe even reaching 100.
Just wear what you usually wear in the summer over there, anything you feel comfortable in.
Yes, you can wear shorts and sneakers because EVERYONE does it. If you're not going to be walking a lot, then replace the sneakers for sandals or something of the like.
Also be sure to pack one or two long sleeved shirts. At the moment it is 68 degrees where i'm at..and i'm a few hours away from buenos aires.
So yeah, just bring a few pairs of jeans, a few pairs of shorts, some sneakers, flats, sandals, sun dresses, casual dresses, tank tops, t-shirts, whatever it is you feel comfortable in.
No one will judge you.
The night life can be a lot of fun here. It's very nice at night. The temperature goes down a little so it's not as hot. And there's a nice breeze as well.
But if you don't want to stand out as a tourist, the one thing you shouldn't do is carry around a HUUUGE book bag. THAT is what gives it away.
Other than that, have fun in Argentina and good luck with everything. |
