Im going to study abroad in Buenos Aires and want to see if Argentina parties as hard as i hear they do. I need to know the bars, clubs, etc that are the "it" spots to be.

Hey !
Finding a party in Buenos Aires is like shooting fish in a barrel. The clubs and bars and discos are open till dawn and you won't even realize that the night has flown by. Luckily drugs are not so hot on the scene and there is basically no discrimination when it comes to getting into a club like there is in London for example. Here is a good link - it is for gay clubs but everyone is invited and for girls these places are especially great because the boys aren't so pushy!!! This list should help! http://www.buenosairesstay.com/bastay/generico.php?carpeta=ing&fuente=gay_clubs_buenos_aires.htm

depends, if youre underage youll have to meet kids under 18 that will know the places, mostly outside of the city of buenos aires, in provincia.
other than that, the "it" places or whateverr you wanna call them are in Palermo Hollywood, Palermo Soho and Puerto Madero.also, San Isidro.
as far as i know, Asia de Cuba is the best one my friends have been to

The Buenos Aires Pub Crawl
It all depends on what part of town you will be staying in. In San Telmo, my favorite bars are Puerta Roja, Crupp, Baba Bar, and Via Via Hostel bar. My favorite club would have to be severino. In Palermo, my favorite bars are Como Te Extrano Clara, Limbo Club, and Tazz Soho. When going to the club in Palermo, you have to hit Crobar, Lost, and Rouge.
These places should treat you well, but if you want to really experience Buenos Aires Nightlife you should check out our pub crawls in San Telmo and Palermo. With us your night will definitely be action packed and there's never a dull moment.

With us you get:

-Open Bar: beer, wine, pizza, & empanadas (9-10pm)
-Free welcome shooter at each bar (3-4 bars)
-Exclusive drink discounts for pub crawlers only
-Transportation to the club
-Free club admission jumping the line

Get all of this for only 60 pesos!!!

Hope you have a blast while you are in town!

there are too many to name here. if you're used to bars, they're the hardest thing to find, just a bar where you can go and have a beer on your own. they're there, though. in san telmo, check out gibratar, the red door. palermo's got a ton. there are clubs everywhere. the niceto club has live music and dance music every night.

bar's heat up around 11 or 12, and then at maybe 2 or 3, people head to the clubs until morning.

Happy hour bars are packed on reconquista in the center.
