I would check also the Apart Hotels (there are several and I recommend Palermo Hollywood area as well as Puerto Madero although these are quite expensive, downtown has the best deals), they sometimes have excellent prices and also they kind of act as bed and breakfasts. I have found the best deals in Craigslist though. Have fun, you'll enjoy BA!!!

mostly clarin and craigslist have the best prices on offer(beware of foreigners orientated agencies)....... a good thing is to come to argentina and while you are here walk to the million of local house rental agencies and you will find what you need. a small apt cost anything from 700pesos and up PER MONTH and the local agencies will rent it to you without any need of guarantor if you pay 3/6 months in advance(even put the price down if you know how to bargain)
