Hi!!! The "Plaza Hotel" is the best for me, and it“s placed just over Florida street ends, an excellent location. Visit this page, please:

Well, the best hotel in Buenos Aires, is The Alvear Palace hotel, it's something like the Ritz, very french, but if you like something more modern i recommend you The Four Seasons, the Caesar Park,The Sofitel or The Hilton.
Good luck and enjoy !!!.

I have stayed in a number of different places in Buenos Aires and I have liked them all. Different areas are good for different things to see and do.

If you want a really fancy hotel, I suggest Puerto Madera

For modern hotels take a look at these as they are all located very well, mostly around Puerto Madero and Recoleta:
Hilton - http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/BUEHIHI-Hilton-Buenos-Aires/index.do

Four Seasons is located very well in Recoleta - http://www.fourseasons.com/buenosaires/directions_and_map.html

Park Hyatt - http://buenosaires.park.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

Emperador is a very different, kind of like a French luxury hotel with an amazing pool - http://www.hotel-emperador.com.ar/

Sofitel...one of my favourites - http://www.sofitel.com/sofitel/fichehotel/gb/sof/3253/fiche_hotel.shtml

Cesar Park is well located - http://www.caesar-park.com/portal/p/en_MX/CP/CPB/1/0/Availability/showMinisitioM2.do?showContenido=/descripcionhotel/CPBdescripcionhotel_M2.html&hotelCode=CPB

Alvear Palace has some nice touches like a tv to watch while you are in the bath - http://www.fivestaralliance.com/luxury_hotel/buenos_aires/alvear_palace_hotel

Sofitel Puerto Madero is a very cool modern hotel - http://www.sofitel.com/sofitel/fichehotel/gb/sof/3658/fiche_hotel.shtml

The Panamerican is in the microcentre of BsAs. I stayed in the area on my first visit and I liked it a lot - http://www.panamericano.us/

You may also like to rent a home or apartment as you can get luxury and it is reasonably priced. Check out this site which is pretty good and has loads of pictures and descriptions - http://www.buenosaireshomerental.com/en/luxury_apartments.php

In a few weeks I am choosing to stay in a serviced apartment as I like being able to have the convenience of a hotel with the capability of an apartment. It is located on one of the best corners in the city in Recoleta and is called Callao Suites. I also have full gym with classes and internet connection.

If you want to be close to all the action I definitely suggest Recoleta.

I like the Four Seasons -www.fourseasons.com/buenosaires

It is really a matter of taste! The Four Seasons is in la Recoleta, a great barrio (district) - do you know Buenos Aires.

Or check out my apartments: A luxury Buenos Aires Stay, living in Puerto Madero, Recoleta or Palermo at half the cost!!
