Would it be better to buy it in the USA and ship to Argentina A laptop?

Studying in Argentina for six months,and plan to buy a laptop. would it be better to buy it in the USA and ship it from the USA to Argentina? OR buy laptop pc in Argentina and bring it back to the USA? What would be the duty tax?

You DEFINITELY want to buy all technology stuff here (apart from a cell phone, where you'll want some kind of plan there. The most popular provider is movistar)
Anyway.
Prices on goods like those (ipods, laptops) are 200-300% sometimes. My aunt and uncle were constantly picking up those things for their Argentine friends when they came to the US so that their friends wouldn't have to pay those outrageous prices!
