I NO LONGER SMOKE (thank God).
10 years ago I was a chain smoker and went through about 60 cigarettes a day and probably a lot more if drinking.
My future wife was a non-smoker and to be fair I knew one of two things had to happen either she became a smoker (wasn't an option) or I quit.
So I made the decision to quit and quit I did. I am extremely proud and amazed that on one day I went from 60 cigs to 0 cigs.
If you don't smoke don't take it up. The so-called pleasure that you get from smoking is not worth the health problems associated with smoking.

if i'm awake 24 hours, i smoke 2 packs a day. on normal waking hours, a pack a day. i started at the age of 13. been trying to quit for the past 20+ years.

good for felicity and wildflower that they've quit. i wish i could quit cold turkey one day.

so, if you haven't started yet, don't!

yes i do, I started when I was 18. I still smoke but down to 2 sticks a day not the usual one pack a day a year ago.

I started smoking at the age of 18 y.o. during my biology class. I can't take it anymore the disgusting smell and sight of our dissected cats.. not even chewing a gum.. so with the influenced of my classmates, I started smoking and became a chain smoker. After few months I was getting worried of it so I've decided to quit smoking gradually until I finally did.. (Gosh! It was not that easy but at least I did quit smoking!) <*-*>

I smoke, I'm 18 and started when I was 16. I smoke about 6-8 a day in the week because I work and don't like going to the smokers shed. I smoke more over the weekend or in the evening if we go to the pub. The new non smoking in public places law has cut me down a lot though.

whoa! i tried smoking when i already graduated college, around 20 i guess.

i became a chain smoker ever since(i was a nasty girl, peer pressure) but i experienced breathing problems and since then i stopped.

i've been smoke-free for almost a year now...

1. I started smoking when I was 17 and went into the Navy, I got up to 2 packages a day. I stopped when I was discharged from the Navy 4 years later.

2. I did not smoke for 8 years until I became a police officer, then I started smoking again, because of stress. Got up to 3 1/2 packs a day.

3. I have not smoked now for 12 years and will never smoke again by the power of God. I am 51.

I started smoking when i'm 17, but only for fun.
Then after I found my first job, i began to smoke. For 8 straight years i'm a Marlboro Menthol Lights endorser, then I stop in 2003. Then i light a stick again in 2004 until last year, 2006. It's been a year now since I last smoked.

i started smoking in college coz my bf then was a smoker...i still smoke now but kinda like 2-3 sticks a day...but my mahal thinks i quit months ago...so let's keep this between us, k?
