As what Hizzy said, Malaysians live on trees and in caves, including me, and we don't have internet connection. I have no idea how I can answer you question in Y/A from my treehouse and I don't know this thing somebody called Dell computer with Intel Core 2 Quad I'm using.
Tanmoy,
I've never been in India and maybe Malaysia is poorer, but my company has a subsidiary in India with networks all over most of the country. From the feedbacks I heard from my collegues who were seconded there, India is so underdeveloped and nobody wants to be seconded there for the second time. So, you guess. |

Welcome to Malaysia, Morgan!
Where are you attached to? I mean which part of Malaysia?
If it's somewhere around KL, well thats great.
KL's quite beautiful I might say, the people is very friendly, but look out for those stuck-up ones, other than that, I think you'll find KL or Malaysia very facinating.
If you wanna go shopping around KL, I wud recommend you to go to our "China Town" - Petaling Street, a lot of cheap & interesting stuff you can find there...
Oh yeah, the cost of living here is quite cheap, at least its cheaper than our neighbour Singapore & Hong Kong.
Have a pleasant stay here! |

Good, you will love the place. It is so different than yr country. Rich cultures and friendly nice local people. You will make friends easily. Just be careful of those illegals who commit crimes like snatching, etc. Everywhere you hv those anyway.
You will enjoy the experience. Plenty of good exotic food, sour and spicy, and various types of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Nyonya, Thai, Japanese, Korean... you name it, they hv it.
Many interesting places to travel, Dont miss out Penang, my hometown. Beautiful island.
Wish you a good time. |

Malaysia is a good country to live. Cheap if you want, expensive it can be if you live in KL. It all depends on what you want. I live in Sitiawan, near Pangkor island and I like it here, 3 years now and there's not one hair on my bald head that wants to go back to Europe. Here's a few links to give you an idea what the country looks like. |
