Places i have visited...

Philippines - Go to Boracay or Palawan. The beaches there are fantastic! Probably the best in asia i have been to. Boracay has the finest white sand and the best nightlife i could find in a beach. Palawan (in El Nido) is so pristine.

Malaysia - The Damai Lagoon is nice, its somewhere south of Kuching. No other facilities except the hotel's own though. Penang is also a great place to visit

Thailand - If your up for shopping, try Bangkok! The things they sell there are dirt cheap, and you start doubting yourself whether you can really differentiate an original garment from a fake (over run) one.

HongKong - very small and not really touristy, but shopping is fantastic as well, especially for electronics. Only tourist spots are Ocean Park and Disney Land.

Beijing - A bit difficult to get around as very few speak english. But the Tiannamen Square and the Great Wall of China was an experience.

Singapore -very small, very urban. Nice place to be in around June-July, when the Great Singapore Sale is usually scheduled.

thanks Buga for promoting the Philippines.. it really is the best destination if you like the beaches, we are surrounded by the sea from north to south.. you can go snorkelling, diving, jet skiing, or just island hopping..(there's Boracay, Palawan and Pagudpud) if you want shopping, lots of malls are in manila and makati, if you want some night life, you can go to Malate and bar hop or Baywalk and see the beautiful sunset at Manila Bay.. hope you have a blast when you choose to travel here..

Too many people's been in Tokyo, So Im guessing you should go to singapore or philippines.. Im not singaporean or from the philippines but I would say that those are the best country to visit.. especially Philippines

Travelling with family? SINGAPORE is the best bet. Something for everyone in the family. Language is no barrier, the people there speaks a little of everything and are very helpful! Shopping and food paradise. Many world class tourist attractions. Efficient public transport system, buses and subway system. Important - very safe city, and you see no policemen around!

If you love beach, snorkelling,sea-food,hot and spicy food and Pagodas then i suggest Penang as we have variety of food so many i cant name all.. but if you like far from crowd and city with bustling lights then you may come to Kuantan Awana Golf and Resort where there is beach,where u can relax and breeze....

Of course Penang! lots of sunshine, beaches and water sports. if thats not enough u can rent a car and drive up the cameroon highlands and spend two nights there (2hrs drive)
