Regardless of the percentages of Philippine women who are using men for money and visas there are many that have an honest interest in becoming a good wife.

I know several men who have long term marriage to Philippine women, so you can not say all.

Your entire question is passing judgement on all FILIPINA'S.
Your question states "Are all filipina women living in the philipines" you are including single, married and aged women in your assumption.
Another thing it's not just American men who go looking for Filipina wives. Just for your information 'other countries do exist'

Not all Filipina's want to marry foreigners even if they had a chance to do so.
The greater majority of Filipina's that do marry foreigners make the marriag last even if the husband is mistreating them.

I do agree with your statement "I do not think its wise to judge a whole country" and would like to add I do not think it's wise to post a question that judges an entire country for the misdeeds of a handful of its' population.

If that is true then I should've married a rich man. My husband is poor. We live from paycheck to paycheck, we have thousands of unpaid bills. My family back in the Philippines are pretty well-off. But I chose to marry a poor american and live a very simple life. I am not sure either about the visa thingy you are talking about. Coz you know what? I would really love to go back to the Philippines right now and live there for good. Unfortunately, I cannot because my husband won't let me and I'd surely get in trouble if I do so.

I'm a Filipina teenager and I came to Canada in 2001. My mommy is a filipina woman who married a filipino man. So, that means not all. maybe some though. I haven't been in the Philippines in years.

If that's true, I should have married a 98 year old rich man! But no, I'm about to marry a man who lived in the "barrio". I'm a city girl and the man of my life came from a place where there's no much of that civilization.

What I'm trying to say is, not all Filipina women are like that. Try to make friends with the right Filipinas... the educated ones.

I woud say majority of those from dating websites have take kind of intention.
They generally go after western men especially caucasians , Americans may be preffered because they are able to communicate in English.

not all, but they marry American men just to go to the US... It sorta sad because most men who go to the Philippines for wives really go because they can;t get wife in the US (because the cheat a lot, or are abusive etc.) So its really a sad story for the child. A mother who doesn't love her husband, and a father who is scummy.
