As a female, I would still love to receive flowers or chocolates or both from a guy.
But if that isn't the courting style of the guy, it's okay as well. What's more important is that the guy would be able to show he likes/loves me. Maybe he'll show it by visiting me everyday at home, or in other means.
I still see a lot of guys with bouquet of flowers though, so I would think that it is still "in" now-a-days. Though I haven't received any lately...haha! =( |

Actually this Chocolates and flowers were part of courtship century ago where the Chocolates are home made like cakes, they have plenty of time, sugar, milk & cocoa were everywhere, they did it for creativity that simbolised the sweetness that never runs out like Tim Tam, the time and effort he gave for the sake of love. The flowers are simply they picked it up from the garden or bushes which was free from nature. Love doesn't cost a penny.
But time change, commercialism took place, people have no time for this so people buy their convenience in the shop but it pays a price. Alternatively, some people change their preferences, such as he invites her for dinner at least they have good conversation and both of them enjoy the food. |

Chocolates and flowers are acceptable tokens of love and will always be appreciated by us girls. However, these alone do not get my vote. For me, there's nothing like saying the words "I Love You" in such a way that all my senses are titillated. |
