not all, sometimes they become more beautiful as they age.

those who were prettier when they were younger were innocent looking, fresh and blooming. at 25, stress, lack of sleep and unhealthy lifestyle can make anyone less appealing.

Not necessarily, Girls may be prettier at 18, but women are more beautiful at 25 in my opinion. As for the beauty pageant age requirements, I believe it has to do with the fact that most women over 25 tend to want to get married since they would be nearing the age of 30 and therefore have to engage in a race with their biological clock. As you know, the pageant is known as "Miss" Universe or "Miss" World and not Mrs. Universe or Mrs. World. A sudden change in civil status would mean a sudden change in priorities as the new bride would want to focus on starting a family instead of travelling around the world to fulfill her charitable duties as an ambassador of goodwill. And regarding men preferring younger women, I think it has to do with ego. Courting younger and therefore more inexperienced women means their batting average will be higher as compared to courting a mature and independent woman in her late 20s. The fact that most guys are into flings and not into fully commited relationships means they'd rather go after women who are still unsure of what they want in a relationship as compared to mature women who are for keeps since if the guys ever have the need to break up with them, they will feel less guilty about it. They also get to shop around more.

I think that every person regardless of their age has something that is beautiful about them.

Yes, that's the time when someone's skin is at it's finest. After that, you deal with blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles, and your skin start to age. Of course proper vitamins and skin regimen slows down the aging process but most often, it's not as envious as when you were 18 =)

Some are prettier at 18 but there are also those who are prettier when older. Call them late bloomers. Anyway, older men prefer young girls because they are gullible - innocent and all that and, malleable. Another reason is that young girls make them feel young which is good for building their egos. They like them fresh and untouched. Still, another reason is that men tend to protect the young. Father instinct, I guess.

As to your other question regarding the age requirement in beauty pageants...young girls are more adventurous. Likewise, the beauty they project is one of innocence, like a flower newly bloomed. It is that kind of beauty that often attracts.

older men who like very young girls only wnat them because the younger the girl the easier to take advantage of. the older i get the prettier i get.

I think my asawa looks better now compared when she was 18 years old. She dresses more mature, definitely nicer in some places hehe, and can carry herself well - conversation, crowds, etc.

Even when I was younger, I found girls older than me quite attractive.

This is HIGHLY subjective..... it is the individuals bias and prejudice....
I know a skinny little guy who never dates a woman under 300 pounds..... others that like older women......others younger "child-like" women..... the VAST majority of men like women their own age or close.....
For me it is not so much the age......as the maturity...... my wife is 25..... I am 68......but in many ways my wife is older than me...... I fell in love with what was INSIDE my wife......her humor.....her intellect.....her maturity..... her compassion and sensitivity.......I honestly did not even think about her age or appearance......we were friends first
To be honest.....the age difference was more my problem than hers..... I felt I was stealing her youth.... going to leave her "used up" and middle aged when I died...... she would be unable to find another love for the second half of her life..... but she wisely said to let her worry about that and lets enjoy this half......she is one hell of a special lady

in beauty pageants they require the age range 18-24 i think because they want women who can still grow after the pageant. it would be off if a beauty queen is already 25 and 2 more years she's 27..i agree with them ..in that age range thats the time were a woman blooms.:p

There's not much difference in looks between 18 and 25. However there is a sense of innocence versus maturity. At 18 to 24 girls are more pliable by thier coaches (or mothers), they can be taught to believe in anything, anything that will win the pageant. However, at age 25 girls (women) generally have thier own opinions/minds. They are now more of a threat to a male dominated society (the women in power are kinda manly, no?). Even women in power are threatened by a pretty 25 y/o for fear they'll steal thier men. At 18 girls are cute and innocent, at 25 they are pretty and mature. As far as who's more attractive, it depends on who you're asking. Older men who like underage girls are perhaps sick or are not achieved/accomplished in the area of love/romance. Older men like younger women because they can. If you think primitively, men can have children until they are past 60 y/o. After age ___ (fill in the blank) a woman cannot. A restored 68 Chevy, though cherry, will never out outlast a Brand New BMW. Sorry to say ...

a lot of wrinkles starts to show at the age of 25. 18 yrs old ladies have a better looking skin, and they look fresh though women at 25 are smarter in terms of experience
