yes I'm going there to visit my family on March and hop fully can stay there until July. you said you will be there for 10 days that too short for Thailand. there are so many things to do, anyway don't worry about traveling alone you can find friends easily if you go to kaosan rd.

Unfortunately, I'm already here and working, but it is a good idea to find a travelling companion. You can do that when you get here in Bangkok, the backpackers hang out in Kausan Road, or in Sukhumvit get a sky train (BTS) to Phrom Pong and go to Dubliners (Irish pub), Robin Hood (Brit Pub) or Bulls Head (Brit/expat pub). You should make friends easily, get good advice and even find a friend to travel with. Enjoy!
