That is why some good people is pretending like bodoh2 and there is not a fair merit every where. Nowadays, the first person who come and talk to the boss is considered right. The bosses todays also using less percentage of their brain to judge on some matters.

Yuna, real sorry to hear about your friend but sadly that seems to be the reality here in Malaysia. For all our first wold pretenses, people here can act so third world at times. Just look at some of the questions and answers posted here.

I don't think there's any way to make you immuned to jealousy, but you shoud always be mindful on how you project yourself. Companies spend millions of dollars on PR consultants to appear as caring corporate citizens, ever mindful on how an action can affect their reputation, we, as employees should do the same.

that what we call as office politics.
some ppl will always try to do something to eliminate threat within the office.. some ppl just make an issue on us.. or simply find fault.. its a pity of what had happen to your friend.. hopefully i wont come across that situation..

common . happen in my office also .
got this one women who is a bloody watchdog
she practically watch what time we come office and "clock" our timing . she kepo2 see if we are talking everything we do she complain to bozz. and the boss believe everything she say.. but she is pot calling kettle black also . her "rezeki" come from making people miserable
