Asians/Filipinos, can you eat chicken without rice?

I don't like too. I prefer chicken, when cooked in any form, with rice! If at a picnic, there is an offering of fried chicken, and no rice, I'll eat it with potato salad to take place of rice.

Now, if my daughter were to answer this question, her answer would be, "No!" She always wants rice with chicken nuggets!

Yes especially fried chicken! You can eat it with spaghetti, lasagna, carbonara, cake, salad...

yes, i can eat chicken without rice, provided there is a carbo substitute like mashed potato, spaghetti, etc.

As much as we both love rice, the rest of the world thinks it's a side dish. Ordering in the states, chicken is usually ordered with mash potatoes, cole slaw or other sides. Rice is not even a side offered at KFC go figure !!!!

Yes I can. But it tastes better with rice. Else, you can have spaghetti or any pasta to go with it.

Yes, I do. And there are some viands I can also eat without rice. I guess it depends on whether you are used to it or not.

well of course we can, I love eating KFC without rice, especially after it's been left in the fridge overnight (trust me, KFC chicken tastes better when cold). but if it's not fried like Andok's lechon manok(filipino version of rotisserie style chicken) or tinola (chicken stew), then I include rice in it.

it's no problem for me. i can eat it alone. although the stuff that i can't eat without rice is chicharon, and pancit. i dunno. they don't taste that good to me without the rice!

It's not always instant noodles that we eat, once in a while Chickenjoy or Chicken Mcdo or KFC naman. Max Fried Chicken pa nga eh!!!

Yes, I actually can as long as I have hot sauce forget the rice. I live in the East Coast of the USA and I visited relatives in the San Francisco area - I was amazed how much rice they eat - breakfast, lunch and dinner - but I actually missed my pasta and bread!!!

y not,its just the same..i always have KFC without rice..but everyday,at least once for 3 days i must eat rice

I can,,, If there is no really rice available... I could eat it with pasta, or bread, potato...

but I really prefer eating my 'ulam' with rice........

Sure, it's nice to eat it with rice coz we are used to it but it's also nice to eat it without rice or with pasta or mashed potato with lots of gravy! Yuummmmm! <*-*>

of course i can, i know why u think that way coz u think we filipino or globally asians we cant live withour rice, yes it is probably true, but we can still eat without rice, especially for those who intend of dieting.
