No.I don't think they will marry girls who look like their fav anime characters.
They will more likely worship them.They'll definitely fall in love with them but I don't think they think the girl is worthy enough to marry them.

Plus,i don't think hard core anime fans would go so far as to get married.The only thing they are concerned about in their lives are anime.

Your question is based on a wrong assumption. No, Japanese people in general are not obsessed with Anime characters.

We are not obsessed with Anime, but some of us do read Manga even when we get older.

not every japanese person is obsessed with Anime nor does ever American have a gun. Will these sweeping generalizations ever stop being made? As it is most Anime fans (which are a small minority even in Tokyo) aare too young to be thinking of marriage and by the time they reach that age most of them have stopped watching it.
