Hady CAN sing.. he just didn't bring out Beautiful Day to his best ability.. but He still Won :) Go Hady! And.. its not always about the best singer really.. most of the well known singers are not that good too.. its just they have a huge fan base and in this world, thats what counts. All the Asian Idol contestants done really well too. Was counting on Jac or Mike to win but i suppose Hady just made all the girls swoon with his boyish grin ;)

people people you cant say "mau deserves the title or jac or mike" cause we have already chosen our ASIAN IDOL and that is HADY MIRZA ! He won cause we voted . Though he didnt sing well for "Beautiful Day", he still has a voice which was WHY we choose him as our Singapore Idol. Beautiful Day wasnt the song for him and I bet Mike cant sing that song any better .

i cant believe this.
his performance was disappointing last night because he chose the wrong song. and now he won? im really surprised and overall this show disappointed me. no kick at all.

oh and the hosts were bad too maybe except jien.

he have always have the showmanship, and entertainment value and humble. Don't expect him to sing beautiful day like U2. Its not 100% voting just 50% and judges 50%( i think) . So i guess no point to not be happy. Like the judge ken say ASIA is a winner.. The judges are biased in their last comments towards their own country xcept ken lim... i guess the humble one wins

infact the overall entertainment value of asian idol is 2 out of 5. Sometimes the music is louder then the singer's voice.

Wow totally shocked too...unexpected 'upset' as some might say. But so so proud of Hady sweeping the title under everyone's noses. Definitely have heard better from Hady. Jaclyn is simply off the charts followed by Mike and Vy but the voting...well, it was all in OUR hands. Guess it reflects that Asia didn't know what to do with their 2nd vote, all of which fell into our Hady's lap. Haha. Nevertheless, he's got an awesome voice and will make it big as will the rest of the competitiors. Way to go! Looking forward 2 hearing more of Jac especially...mindblowing performance! Asian voices unite!

He charmed the Asian viewers out there and i guess it didnt hurt that he looks good on stage....

i personally think that Jac n Mau are way better than himâ€¦
but thatâ€™s just how voting thru sms worksâ€¦
ppl dont see on the TALENT but more on the likeability factor that someone has (which in this case Hady got it all)

Well , its not his fault of winning . Its the viewers fault who chose the wrong singer . Don't blame him man , he's innocent .
By the look of him when his name was announced , he had a very shocking face and fell on his legs cos he didn't believe that he won . I think that by votings , its consider a unfair judgment .
The people who planned this showed should not opened SMS votings , instead they should have opened judges decision

He won the 1st Asian Idol he doesn't deserve. Unfortunately, to my dismay, and of the judges too, his is a case of SMS winning but that shows how much his fans love him.

That title should go to either Jaclyn Victor (Malaysia), Mau (Philippines) or Mike (Indonesia). Even the judges did not rule him out as the the few who could win. It's a waste of everyone's utter anticipation.
