As Real As It Gets

Barring idiotic catchphrases, the truth is, no, they can not be "undone." What is done is done, but it need not end there.
What is learned from a mistake is far more valuable then redemption for the mistake, but only if what is learned is turned into practical wisdom and used to prevent repetition of the mistake. It's only a "mistake" the first time; after that, it's poor judgment or a bad choice. |

Not in this one. In the next. |

Of course not. In the future, look at decisions in terms of doing what is right or what is easy. |

Well I think that the mistakes that you did are already done and can't be changed. I do belive that you can undo some mistakes by doing something about it or in place of it do something good. There will still be a mistake but you will have something good in return if you do something to make it or be better. |

I don't necessarily think mistakes can be "undone" so to speak. What si done is done and that fact can't be changed. However they can be forgiven, and learned from. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger!! |

I think that the best you can hope for is to make the corrections if you can, learn from what happened and move on. Unfortunately life doesn't come with a big eraser to be used to eradicate our mistakes. It's not that easy most times. |

Of course they can be undone but it takes works like everything else and determination for perfection. |

mistakes in life cannot be undone, but they can repeat itself and it's up to you to make the right decision which you have not made the first time.
Do not be afraid to make mistakes but be afraid in committing it again. |

Yes it can be the hardest task you will ever undertake, especially where family is concerned, but you just have to put your hands up and say sorry!
if you mean it , I mean truly, they will believe you!
Good luck! |

Yes, they can. If you have made some wrong choices in the past, you can always start over today. Switch directions right now. Vow to do the right thing instead of the wrong. The hole in your soul and the guilt you feel cannot ever heal unless you do not mend your ways. To break free of guilt is like taking a brick off your chest.
If you've hurt someone in the process of learning your life lessons, make it right. Reach out to them, and tell them you are sorry. Or just start being nice. You are accountable for your behavior. Own up to it.
Everyone makes mistakes, but you shouldn't live your life in their shadow. Bad things will happen, it's inevitable. You just have to deal with them and move on. |

Nope. But that's good. You learn from your mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the more you understand whats right and wrong and the better your morals become. |

It obviously depends on the mistake. You have x amount of time left to live and you either make a decision to live it the way you wish you lived your past or continue to live it like your past. |

you simple can't turn back time and whatever has happened was done already and you simply can't undo it. it's either you repent for it or take the lesson with you as you move along in your life. |

As a positivist i see it this way: the moment you realize that you made a mistake, you have already undone it and that you learn a lesson, that is, in the future you are bent not to make that mistake again. To make it clear, you have just prevented a mistake get repeating in the future. But in a more pragmatic view, mistakes are mistakes. You can't do anything about them except to suffer their consequnces. |
