Can you give me a great slogan to promote Manila/The Philippines? |
If Singapore has "Surprising Singapore", Malaysia has "Truly Asia", and New York has "I love New York", give me a good slogan for Manila (or the Philippines). Could be a catch phrase or a short sentence. Just make it good. |

"Manila/Philippines...No Place Like Any Other" is the best I can come up with...after all we do have that expression "onli in da pilipins" even though it's usually in jest....because it's true...all the other countries in the world are similar to its neighbors...all the southeast asians have buddhist/hindu cultures dominating with their wats and temples...the east asians are similar, middle east, central asia, india and pakistan, africa, latin america, usa canada & australia...our culture is the only one that has been the most transformed...from islam to catholicism, filipino and chinese with spanish and american...kinda like a "potpourri"...we're not as big a melting pot as other countries and other's have described themselves a trifles/casseroles...but i would say we're a potpourri because we have a sparse/scattered quality
I also suggest "Coconut Heaven/Coconut Paradise" not only coz of the islands but our plantations in Batangas/Quezon/Laguna (Viaje del Sol) which created the coconut boom and we even have a palace made out of coconuts....
If this gets picked can I get paid ;-) |
