toothache is minimal compare to final stage of cancer.

patient need to be induced with morphine dose every minutes.
and the dosage is controlled by patients, not doctor.
Because the level of pain is the worst among other,
morphine is the only comforting patient can get.

3rd/4th degree burn also is hell of a pain.
Some patients need to be commatase in order not to feel the agonizing pain..

Toothache is just for a while, after you check to the dentist, you will be cured. If you realize that it hurts you lot, so maintain the health of your teeth well.

I had my wisdom tooth extracted in 1996 and I can still imagine the pain I went through. It took the surgeon 4 hours and seven injections to take one bloody tooth out and the last injection only lasted for two hours. I couldn't eat for two weeks, and I even struggled to drink via the straw. I lost a great deal of weight because of it and the pain was unbearable. Now, everytime I have a slight toothache, I panicked like hell.

The Great Eye

The worse pain ever than a toothache is what I would call a 'cluster headache'. It's a type of a vascular headache but the known pathophysiology is still unknown.

Considered to be an excruciatingly bad pain, the symptoms of a cluster headache are varied. Like a migraine attack, the pain in this case is also on one side of the head. But it may change direction and occur on the other side of the head when a new series of attacks starts.

The pain is localized behind the eye and the region around it.

My doctor who once experience the pain described it as 'a hot iron being pinned behind the eye'. It is so painful and the sufferer might knock the head to the wall or scream. Unfortunately, cluster headache has no cure til now so u just have to bear with the pain for about 2 hours. Cluster headache typically occur at midnight before dawn.

Frequency of attack is about once in 3-4 months (if I'm not mistaken). After 3 to 5 more attacks, the sufferer is magically free of this type headache with unknown cause.

Other types of worse pain that I can think of are:
- Labor pain (probably lessen because of pain reduction services such as nitrous oxide inhaler, morphine injection or epidural anaesthesia)
- Renal stones
- Ruptured appendix

And yes to:
-First and second degree burn
-Any parts of the body being chopped or mutilated
-Cancer pain
-Nerve ending disease
