A filipina was pulled over by a cop after she cut somebody off while merging onto the highway. "Ess dere a proeblem oppisar?" (Is there a problem officer?) the filipina asked. "Yes ma'am. You cut off the person behind you while merging and almost hit him! Don't you know that you are supposed to yield??" the officer said. After thinking about it for a while, the filipina says "Yes yes, I yield and I yield, but he did not hear me!"

We have no choice: it's either we laugh at our woes or die because of our woes. It is sometimes a big relief, when we look at how gigantic our problems have piled up, to laugh at our pitiful situation even if in truth they have become unsurmountable sometimes we think of ending it all with our life. But thanks God I am a Pinoy, I can still have fun out of my misery.
