Sorry if my answer offends anyone. The core of the problem is with the NEP. NEP has indirectly make the Malays too dependent on the government and because of this they become less motivated and less competitive than the non-bumis in everything they do simply because they do not have to compete with the non-muslims. Malays are actually as capable as Chinese and Indians but due to being "pampered" too much by the government they become complacent and soon lacking behind the non-Malays in many areas. Believe me the continuation of NEP will only make Malays be left further and further behind the non-Malays in the future. The country should be run by capable Malaysians regardless of their races. There are capable people of races to do that.

Well yeah..I keep thinking bout that too,lately..For me,its not that we dont want to give the opportunity to the non-malay..but we're afraid that IF we give it to the non-malay,our priority will be jeopardised.
But IF the government REALLY want DEVELOPMENT(which they keep talking bout and neglecting the society's mentality)then,give it to the non-malay to rule,bcoz they know better.
