Did angel locsin make the right decision of transferring to ABS-CBN?

yes i think so because

1. abs-cbn knows how to take care care of their celebs' fame. gma doesnt. look what happened to jolina, pia guanio, and marvin agustin.. when they moved to gma, their career plummeted.

2. now that angel's not a kapuso anymore, she can now stop making sappy, corny movies which only caters to the bakya crowd. no more richard-anghel loveteam, no more tweetums movies. when gma realized that she was making money on that genre, they just let her get stuck there, and her growth just suffered.

3. her acting abilities will improve, with the likes of john lloyd (who i think is the best actor at this moment), claudine barretto, juday, i think she can now compete with real actors and actresses.

angel is a great loss to gma. as of now i dont see an actor or actress that are at par with the talents of abs. i mean really, who? jennilyn mercado?? cmon!

yes...she'll have more exposure to filipinos overseas because of the TFC. that means more popularity...

YES!!! She'll get better exposure and more chances to work with high-calibre actors and actresses. It's time to move on, GMA already earned a lot of money from her shows and endorsements (through GMA Artists Center). She deserves a higher salary and better projects. Yahoo!!!

the issue has been buzzing everywhere in the Philippines. I didn't expect to see this here..hhaha

but as to your question...she did. I believe ABS CBN tries to make the best from their stars...but Angel has to improve and compete with kapamilya actresses. Tingnan natin.

yes because i think that gma is more about like entertainment and fun and abs-cbn is more about drama, i am probably wrong because i dont watch gma. well angel locsin is better in dram than comedy i guess...... blah i dunno heheh sorry but i think its good

for me... no.... well... i don't take sides.. pero as far as i'm concerned, kawawa si angel dun... siguro kung parating may mga drama dun, maganda kasi yun ang talent ni angel.. and if i'm not mistaken, almost lahat ng talents ng abs always join in sa mga variety shows... and si angel hindi mahilig sa mga ganun. she never dance and sing... kung guest man siya sa sop dati, eh hindi siya ganun ka at-ease. kahit nga nung nag-guest siya sa nuts, parang uncomfortable din siya. kasi it's not her field... i will not comapre angel to toni... why? kasi si toni maraming talent... magaling si toni sa hosting kaya nagamit ang kanyang pagiging jolly... while angel never hosted right? kaya it might be a very big possibility na mabibilis siyang mawawala hopefully not... kailangan kasi ng abs mga magaling sa mga hosting yung tipong kwela... kaya si valerie walang problem kasi marunong siya.. i don't say na hindi marunong si angel pero she doesn't like those kinds of doings.... pero sana magtuloy-tuloy ang career niya.. at hindi siya matulad kay vina morales na nasayang lang ang paglipat niya....

when I was in still in the Philippines, I want GMA more than ABS-CBN,,, when i came here, we don't have GMA channel, that's why, but we have TFC... when I heard the news that Angel Locsin if transferring to ABS-CBN, at first, i don't like her decision, then I realized, "now, I may be able to watch her again here in TFC..."

Hell no! I'm a half Kapuso half Kapamilya and I'd just like to say that Angel Locsin did something quite unfair! ABS-CBN didn't help her get famous and if it weren't for GMA, Angel would have been the "run-of-the-mill" dalaga right?
