Sky Bus - around KK only ~good Luck~

They are still not using any transportlah!! They walk by foot. You know Kota Kinabalu are so primitive.. people living on the tree, where got car or other transports? Some of the rich people may have a bicycle or motorcycle.
One more thing, you must not bring any hand phone there cause there is no signal. Surelah, jungle everywhere! Try to bring some cigarettes and stationary for barter trading there!

i'm confused? around kota kinabalu your legs should do you failing that the buses and mini buses are great. theres boats out to islands and the long distance coaches go past the entrance to kinabalu park itself. that should should sort you out? obviously the airport providea the fast exit out to penisula malayisa and sandakan although PLENTY of coaches taking you around sabah!

KK is pretty small and all major shopping malls can be reached by foot... taxis, mini-busses, City Bus, private coach enterprises abound in a confusing variety but there are a couple of main bus stations from where you can get just about anywhere in Sabah that has road access; there are also share taxis for long distances, overland coaches, Malaysia Airlines, MasWings and Air Asia, and Sabah Air (helicopter service for the well heeded). Agents also hire out their cars, vans and busses. Boats take you to the islands. You will see KK is pretty busy, grid locked from 9am-5pm, we have tapped water, and unfortunately not that much jungle left. My biggest complaint is that you have hp coverage just about anywhere, it becomes increasingly difficult to get lost a couple of days without anybody actually being able to reach you...
