i was so young (form 5) when i fell in love with a boy from boy's school..he was damn handsome...Nick Carter in his days.....as i was crazy for Backstreet Boys band!..We went strong for 4 years until he passed away.. After him, i still looked for good looking guy..Matilda is right..good looking guys always ended up as Giant or KFC worker! noway man! Now im a working adult, i realized that handsome face cannot feed me and assure my happiness....but..eh..sorry la..my current bf also handsome..hahaha... |

But I think what you mean is true for the girls who want to do what is expected from them by Malay society: get married and have lot's of kids. For that they need an unadventurous boring husband who only thinks about his job......
By the time these women are in their 30s they start realizing that they are missing something. That's when they find a guy to have secret sex with. Not much later their husband does the same and then they divorce. That's Malaysia nowadays... |

First of all, oi! Women in their twenties not considered young, kah? Since you mentioned young women go for macho and good looking guys, the twenties one go for geeky, homely types.
Macho men may look buff etc, but do they respect a woman for whom she really is? If he cares more about his buddies, taking care of his ego and image without bringing home enough $$ to share and contribute to home expenses, no point la - especially when he doesn't have much grey matter and is lousy at holding conversations. |

I tend to be attracted to guys with certain personality.
Maybe because I'm used to be surrounded by rich/upper class people with good looks or mixed genes thus physical looks doesn't attract me.
I have a co-worker who used to think I'm a lesbian because he's the most good looking guy in the department (kononlah) because of his skin & face resembles some HK popular actor & I'm not attracted nor treated him like other gals in the department.
But 1 thing for sure, I like guys with kind eyes :) makes me happy looking at them. |
