Yes they all do, and their friends are really imaginary.
And when they grow up to become adults they discover, if they're lucky, that they still have imaginary friends, of a different kind though - impostors who are real in form only, who'd laugh with them during good times, but as fake as paper roses whose colors bleed when left out in the rain. |

I can only speak for myself, and I sure does have one when I was a kid.
Ok, I only have a sister and am older than her. I don't play with other kids and I only have my dolls. So, to be happy, I create imaginary friends. That helped! |

Most kids do.
Being an only child, however, what I created were imaginary sibblings - Nonoy & Neneng - twins! a year younger than me. They have got to be younger so I can boss them around. And it was fun!!! When I was ready to go to high school, I decided to send them to a boarding school in Europe. During the time I was taking some courses (for my MA) here in the States, I brought them back again to keep me company. But the long absence has taken its toll and it became evident that we have outgrown one another. So let's just say I just let them fade away....naturally. |

My nephew & cousin did.
They didnt have to be near anyone or have things to play with.. they would always talk to them about the weirdest things!
But i never did.. I guess if children dont have too many friends.. they make up some.. i dont know! |
