I can't speak for God but I think they do go to heaven. All of God's creatures are as innocent as new born babies. They don't struggle with right or wrong, they are naturally what God made them to be.
Many Theologians will disagree with me but I don't care. If I don't see my old dog Henry when I go to heaven I'll be sure to give God a piece of my mind about it. |

Well, they don't have a soul as described in the bible, so probably not. But it also says in the bible, that heaven will include things that are by God for our happiness, so maybe so.
The biggest question we must ask is this...."Will I go to heaven when I die?"
If you have accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, then the answer is a great big happy yes.
In the book of John 14:6, Jesus says.."I am the Way the Truth and the Life, and noone gets to the Father except buy Me"

I have a Bichon Maltese that also sleeps in my bed. Every time I wake up in the morning, this dog gives me the feeling that I'm in heaven.
Studies may prove that they don't have souls but one thing is for sure, he is my heaven on earth. |

Only humans have a soul and only the soul go's to heaven...
As kind of a side note we Native Americans were thought to be animals, savages and therefore could be kept as slaves... until Native Americas were taken to the Pope and he decided we did in fact have a soul and therefore were people too! |

I happen to think that all animals - pets in particular - will be in heaven. I can't imagine that it would be heaven without my pets. I just don't know how I could show affection to all of the ones that I have loved here on Earth. But I would sure like to try. |

This question will be answered differently by each person you ask. Those who deny the existence of God will certainly tell you that there is no heaven, therefore dogs cannot go to heaven.
Others will emphatically say yes, mostly out of emotional reasoning.
Some might crack a joke about where cats will end up.
From my understanding of things, heaven is a place of absolute bliss, where those who have put their faith in God will enjoy eternity with Him. There will be no sadness, despair, sickness, or death. We will be completely satisfied, wanting nothing. Part of this satisfaction may be the presence of animals (possibly those that were formerly part of our lives), yet there is no way to be certain. I suppose we will find out then! |

No they don't.
But lots of Filipino from the northern part of Luzon (Ilocos) prays that dogs must also be allowed in heaven. Because they love dog meat.
I hope there's no Animal Welfare member in here hehe.
