I think they would be more worried about something being wrong with the tectonic plates in that region. |

Yes, if you consider Taiwanese are foreigners too, some of them do get mad |

No. Peaceful reunification, in a way that respects that freedom and prosperity of Taiwan (freedom and prosperity that Chinese can only envy) is a good thing for all concerned. |

No,
I get mad when Chen Shui Bian and his DPP inflate their political power with the empty promise of Taiwan independence. Anyone capable of critical thought knows that's China's red line and therefore impossible. Only war and misery could result.
On the other hand, if reunification takes a hundred years, that's probably the best way to go. Maybe by that time, the PRC police state will have fallen: so much the better!
ps: I'm an American, our 49th state is in the Pacific, as well as a number of US trust territories, important allies like Japan and Australia, and a huge amount of important commercial shipping under the flags of many nations trading with the US.
In other words, the US is not a "foreigner" to the Western Pacific: Taiwan IS in our backyard, therefore it is our business what transpires between the PRC and the ROC, and a policy of "strategic ambiguity" doesn't please either the DPP nutballs or the fascists in Beijing, but it serves our national interests best. What happens in the Western Pacific is in our national interest. |

well...some people (like me) still don't want taiwan to be a part of china. i think that taiwan should make its own decisions, and that china should stop minding other people's business. |

Foreigners should stop meddling into the internal affairs between Taiwan and China. Look after their own backyard first. |
