Zee..zzzz....
yes...most of Malaysian..including me!

My driving school lesson was not tought at the driving school compound but at the city of KL.
yeap...been driving without license for almost 3 years before I got cought at my hubby hometown by IPD Kuantan.

KL is a good place to learn how to 'cilok' (overtake), to 'cucuk' (kissing bumper to threaten) ,
to 'bagi makan asap' (overtake and leave black smoke behind)
and obviously to make a 'u-turn' at the wrong place.
Even to get into your right lane few second before you missed it
and that could invite some honking from vehicles behind.

'gores & menang' is part of the driving reward in Malaysia.
the more you scratch, the less fear you have.
Yep..I got bumps and scratches and dents.
Every year, I clear that imperfection and have it again after a short time.

Nah.., just inconsiderate, impatient, selfish, kiasu...,
whereas some are over-cautious, drive too slowly...lol..
if the above is not bad, I wonder what is.
Not everyone though.

Not at all as compared to our Singaporean drivers. In fact I find most of them very skillful... Maybe Singaporean drivers are worse, that's why I couldn't pick on them.
Hey... except for motorcyclist... I think most of them are dangerous riders...

Well, I did think they were bad drivers until I went to China and saw how "crazily" they drive there. (And they have the death toll to prove it .)

if you are in malaysia, obviously you would see bad and good malaysian drivers. my experience in overseas though, not often do i see bad msian drivers. no offence but being at a place where indian drivers are slowly dominating the road, especially in big buses and taxis, i have most horrible experience with indian drivers

man

I once thought so. Not until I went to Jakarta.

They don't even have traffic lights (correct me if I'm wrong, but honestly I didn't see much of traffic light there). Just imagine the pedestrians, without traffic lights they just run through a busy road. My dad said to me many have died just like that but the local authority wouldn't do anything because compared to its population, their life seems worthless.

We always condemn bout our own country and this is so unfair, consider that we are actually better than most of the other countries. When comes to comparison, bigger picture should have taken into account.

Well, at least to me, not all Malaysians are bad drivers.

are you kidding? there is like an unwritten code when it comes to understanding malaysian drivers... i drive to cyberjaya everyday from shah alam and i feel like only a very small fraction actually obeys the speed limit... not to mention those annoying drivers who thinks the morning rush hour is the perfect time to show off their racing skills... the part that i hate most is when i'm in the fast lane and there come this car behind me and he'll start to drive really really close to me just because he wants me to let him through... it is not that i'm driving too slow but it is because he wants to go like 200 km/j or something... that is really dangerous... if i had to brake suddenly, both our cars and most probably others as well... would be totalled... some thinks driving in KL are bad... well, the highways aren't much better either...

no. I have never seen a bad Malaysian driver. I haven't even seen a Malaysian driver in my life. all the Malaysian I know are smart, friendly, and cool. its just my experience.
