The Japanese are very kind people. Very helpful. I used to live there and I had many friends that I could count on when I had a problem. They are hard workers too.

It depends on how they act, moral character & how they present themselves towards other people. Here in Hawaii, some Japanese people are really rude, arrogant, aggressive, unprofessional & RACIST. They think they own these islands. Some of them have NO RESPECT towards other people & they do not stop to think about how other people would feel when treating them like crap. Being from California, I didn't encounter any rude, arrogant Japanese people over there, so I never had anything to say about them until I moved to Hawaii, I've gotten a pretty good perspective of how they really are over here. I'm not saying all Japanese People are like this, but I am speaking of a majority of the ones in Hawaii. While some are really nice, respectful Japanese people, there are also some really rude & racist Japanese people.

Generalization is one of the worse things in the world. It derives from ignorance, usually. Learning and broadening our view about the world and each nation will help us face the true meaning of the Xenon circle and will help become better citizens of the world.
I love Japan. This is my 6th year in Japan. I'm not native English speaker, as you may have already understood.
During these 6 years, I have met wonderful, intelligent , warm Japanese. I have met also people , which hurt me and I wish I've never met (both men and women).
So , based on the logic of the question and most of the answers, what should I say? I hate Japanese because A san or B-san were racist and rude towards me? Or I like Japanese because C-san and D-san have been very nice and helped me a lot?
My answer is, that I like the Japanese C-san and D-san, and I hate A-san and B-san, because Japanese are not a mass, a flock, they are PERSONALITIES!

i like Japanese people coz they've got dignity and they are very respectfull...

I hosted a lovely Japanese girl, Yuki, when she was studying in America. I had the great pleasure of having her family visit me. Her father and I shared an interest in tradition pottery and in gardening. Even though he and I did not speak each other's language, we had lovely walks and talks. I gave him saki cups I had made and he sent me beautiful tea cups. It is not the eyes so much, but what you see in the eyes and in the heart.

I went to JAPAN a few times and i love this country and the people so much,japanese people very polite and respectful,they are very humble and always offer to help you anytime,i love their culture,castle,shrine,park,garden,temple... electronic,fashion style of japanese girls just make me enjoy so much.
I remember once i was on the JR from CHIBA to TOKYO there are a couple with two children with them,i sat next to a wife and a son,husband and a daughter in front,two children were talking a bit loud and stand up and joking around but i like it,it not bother me at all.Then after we got to tokyo station i was so surprise the wife stand up and bow to me and said sorry for her children noisy,she tried to speak english thought but i told her oh no problem,i enjoy listen to them speaking japanese thought,the husband and two kids thannks and said arigato,that show me how japanese that moment make me just love that country somuch!I never forget cherry blossom season in april,,,,
