You meant hospitable right? Yes, I do as long as you look descent and doesn't look like your social level is lower than theirs.. I hate to admit it but most people are not that hospitable to individuals whom they think are lower in the poverty level as they are. It also doesn't happen if they do not like the person.. Foreigners and middle class to rich people often gets a great hospitable welcome from others.. It's just the truth.. Not that people will treat others in a bad manner, but I guess that the level of hospitality is the indicator of the person's social level, relation, or appeal to the other..

TRIGGER
yes, filipinos are hospitable, but not all...so always use your common sense, it'll be very obvious if a person has bad intentions, by the way they dress etc...=)

pero_102
generally, filipinos are very hospitable, that's why we are easily bribed, feel compassionate towards another, treat you foods which are better than what we ordinarily consumed, or loan money just to have a friend or a guest some pleasant time.

tom c
maybe in general.

nang.amie
yes we are.

cael
yes we are hospitable.. dont worry of being out of placed.. you wouldn't be at any minute of your stay:) trust me..

Filipinos, in general are hospitable... but not 100% of the total Philippine population are like that... of course, there are some that are not that as hospitable as others, but not that much...

Most Filipinos are hospitable. They make you feel very welcome in their homes. They always are after your own comfort and would do everything just to do that. And they like to share. As they say, "What is ours is yours." And there's a joke in Tagalog which goes..."Kain ka nang kain, walang hiya." (Eat to your heart's content, don't be shy).

I'm 15.. I know it's weird but where I used to live, people used
to have to kind of fight to fit in and us teens were like very... teens.
But when I moved to the Philippines at age 13, the kids were just too kind and they would feel so sensitive about doing something bad. I kind of hated that because it didn't allow me to be a teen.
I'm not bashing, but hey.. different cultures.

So by this example, you can see how hospitable and nice they are

Cheers

heartburn
lots are hospitality girls.
they will give everything for...a fee.

By nature orientals are hospitable. Filipinos are not exception. They are second to none in receiving people from heart. But one should also watch out when dealing with business. It is unfortunate that many people have emulated corruption. Lip service are on the rise. But majority of Filipinos are very hospitable. You got to see them in person to believe what I am saying.

You can generally say that Filipinos are hospitable. However, from watching American TV, I learned that if you make generalizations regarding Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and other ethnic groups, you are called a racist. Guess it doesn't apply to positive generalizations. What does apply is that while Filipinos are known for our hospitality, foreigners are quite the target for stick-ups and unscrupulous deals in the country.

yes they are very nice and welcoming. plus those girls are so hot. any hot Filipino girls want to chat, email me

life is beautiful.
what's wrong with your question? hospitable is the right term. hospitable is an adjective and hospitality functions as a noun. filipinos are hospitable and known to be as such. we accept people in our place, country or house and treat them as part of the family. we provide them,as long as we can, the best food and the best bed and linens even if it means we're going to sleep in the living room and in the "banig".
