He said it right, its from the organization he worked for.
For me, I cannot fathom a person who helped the not-so fortunate Filipinos and not loving them. Proof, he cannot say anything good about the country and its citizens. He cannot even say that his wife is the best person of the Philippines.
Here I go again. I've worked with so many not-so fortunate Filipinos almost more than half of my life. I got attached to them until now. Why? Maybe, I exerted so much of my time, energy and resources to help them. All through it all, I have no regrets. Even my wife and family were very proud of them. They will not do anything to hurt them also. Why? They have many problems in their hands already. Why add to their sufferings? My home is their home. They can enter our home anytime they wish. Name the kind of persons and we have it. Addicts, slum people, elderly, sick, prisoners who got out of jail, abandoned children, etc.
Having exeprienced so many when it comes to this, I believe in the saying that there is "No glory in service" sometimes. The frustrations and disappointments will always be there. Having said that. Well, I read your reply the other day implying that maybe, you will be going to private work because of frustration of some Filipinos not helping enough their fellow citizens. First, how can you know that they are not helping? Secondly, its none of your business. Being a member of an organiztion that you;ve said was relying on donations, you cannot force everybody to chip in.
If you're planning to return to private work, good on you. As I've learned from the not-so fortunate Filipinos, what they wanted is help that is coming from the HEART. Nothing more, nothing less. If you cannot do that, leave us alone!
Lastly, would you believe if your organiztion will know what you're doing in this site, would they be proud of you? I do not think so. You do not have to resign because you will be fired. |

if you are saying that he personally spend that much, then no.
but if he claims that he works for a company that did, then that is not so hard to believe, many companies do that & they have many people who work for them.
anyway, there are so many wells popping up, i don't even know whos the real well & what company he works for. |

he would not be getting these much flak if he chose his wods carefully. the words came across as the entire $2.0M ++ was his own money. it was only later that he admitted that he worked for an organization that spent the money in the philippines. bottom line is, it is not his money!!!! |

Another $2.8 M question, LOL.
I don't believe it, I think its a TROLL. Look there's 3 WELL personality in this question. It's pretty obvious its a TROLL.
"He is as good as his words, and his words are no good."
Who mentioned it? Melchor, Gaspar or Baltazar? |

No, I don't because in his own words he admits that doesn't.
"I did not spend $2.8M in the country. My employers do. As an employee of that organization, part of my job is to ensure that it is spent as responsibly as possible and is completely accounted. Most of that money comes from private donors and government grants and funding sources."
It is good to see that you are finally starting to admit some home truths. Please keep it up. There may be some light at the end of the tunnel after all. |

Whether he or his organization spent that money on the Phils. is not my concern. What I don't understand is the RELEVANCE of making such a statement. Well, maybe I just lack the intelligence to fathom what he is trying to say but if in saying so he feels more noble, then so be it. I'm just a kid and my delusions of grandeur are still underdeveloped. |

Whatever that person is saying, I think it is up to him..I mean if he is lying then let him..I think he is the one who will suffer for not telling the truth and if he is telling the truth then "thank you".
And to Well, I don't think he should brag about it..if he got a noble cause or anything that is something he must keep inside his heart and not something to brag about.... |

Hey guys! Stop it! He's my friend!
Actually, I am the only one in YAP that could prove that Well donated the $2.8M here in our country.
He actually give to support educational and welfare institutions as well as in health foundations.
He, really spend that $2.8M to our kababayans.
IN HIS DREAMS. |

Well
|
Yes i did.
I spent about $2.8M into the Philippines in 2006 and a little bit more by the end of this year, by way of programs and projects in education and healthcare. i indeed do work for those noble causes. it doesn't make me noble--but it sure feels good. you should try it sometime. |

I A-do you realize that some of the recent questions posted here are from TROLLS and are not really from me? To tell the difference, the real WELL has almost a thousand answers while the troll version of me has only few.
I did not spend $2.8M in the country. My employers do. As an employee of that organization, part of my job is to ensure that it is spent as responsibly as possible and is completely accounted. Most of that money comes from private donors and government grants and funding sources.
I do not need to "show proof" especially to you guys. Besides, if you were smart enough, EVERY dollar of that money and where it got spent is FREELY available to the general public on the Internet for viewing and perusal. You figure it out since some of you seem to have an awful lot of time on your hands.
That's the truth, the simple truth. Why is that so very very hard for some to fathom? It just boggles the rational mind. |
