I do not. We buy our rice directly from farm. It has been that way ever since.
In case, you want to read my twisted thoughts about some current issues... well, you might want to check my source; |

My 75 yo grandma does, and yes she still have to line up for 4 hours to get a 3kilos of rice. She buys them every day and every night. When we are able to meet , i would ask her about her day and it includes the long hours she have to buy nfa rice from the nfa outlet in the market. The recent news of an old man who drop dead after buying rice from nfa because of heatstroke, well, were in the same city. The vice president was just here and foreseeing the nfa rice distribution, my grandma says the line was so fast unlike before. Yeah, I do believe her but when there is no personalities it would be back to the long slow line up again.
I dont buy them. And my grandma dont ask me to fall in line for her coz she knows me very well that when im in there i would probably be bit*hing the entire time, curse to much and sin a lot. :) |

No - my wife deals in the good rice so that's what we eat --- me only maybe 3 times a week. Being European, I also like potatoes and macaroni. |

No, ever since we only buy the native variety since it is in abundance in the place where i am or the sinandomeng variety.
Many in our place buys NFA rice but falling in line to buy this is not common here. It is only in Manila I guess that people fall in line to buy NFA rice.
We don't experience the "shortage" of rice here although I admit prices has skyrocketed thanks to scrupulous businessmen. |

No, I don't. I'm a hypocrite! I'd buy the fancy ones but eat less than the usual. It'll amount to the same expense. Starve than be seen in the line, lol!
seriously, i don't. i let the househelp fall in line, lol! |

No. Even before the rice crisis, I never bought NFA rice. I don't think I'd start now. Anyway, we don't consume much rice. |

It is fortunate for some not to buy NFA rice, nor fall in line and wait a long time to get a ration of NFA rice. But such is life, it is not evenly distributed, both in talents and wealth.
I dont buy rice anymore, I used to, but now due to changes in life, we just plant our rice and have a few more after harvest season. And no, there is no problem with the crop yield last season and hopefully for the next one as well. So this means there is really supply of rice out there, just that the price is higher compared with previous years. |

No. Even before the so-called rice shortage.
I used to buy jasmine-denorado mix before but now i buy only denorado variety so I won't feel the price hike that much |
